FAQGeneral FAQ1. What does Aye-Tunes do?Aye-Tunes converts your music CD's into a digital music library perfectly organised by artist, album and genre. Send us your CD collection and we send you back a Digital Music Library – playable on all digital audio devices and software players. 2. What is a Digital Music Library?A Digital Music Library is a digital version of your CD collection stored on either DVD, external hard drive or computer hard drive. Each library is organised alphabeticaly by artist, album and song. 3. What does the service cost?Aye-Tunes’s conversion service costs vary depending on the number of CD’s we convert. Please see our order page for a complete price list. . 4. Can I share my Digital Music files?Absolutely not! This is against copyright law. Please read our terms and conditions on your responsibilities. To protect you and the recording artist from theft every file we digitise is watermarked with both our company details and your details. 5. How long will it take Aye-Tunes to process my order?The time it takes Aye-Tunes to process your order depends on the number of CD's you would like us to convert. Normal processing time is around 2-3 days, depending on how many jobs are currently being run, not including shipping time. We can process over 400 CD's per day. Rest assured, we will contact you as soon as we receive your order to advise you of an estimated completion time. We focus on getting the quality right 1st time and sometimes that takes a little longer than just getting it out the door. 6. What does Aye-Tunes do with scratched or damaged CD's?Aye-Tunes makes every effort to convert scratched, or damaged CD's and in many cases we are able to successfully convert them. Obviously there are cases when we are unable to work with damaged CD's. To improve the success of your rip job we highly recommend you clean your CD's prior to shipping them to us. 7. Do you have a minimum order quantity?Yes, 25 CD’s is the minimum. 8. How do I send my CD's to Aye-Tunes?Once we receive your order, we will send you a shipping kit will consist of a CD spindle and all necessary packaging, when you`re ready just give us a call and we`ll arrange a suitable time to collect them. It is essential that your CD’s are sent to us on the supplied spindle. 9. Are the shipments insured? Yes. Aye-Tunes uses Courier Insurance for all shipments and insures each CD for a maximum replacement value of £7.50 10. Do you keep a copy of my music files?Unless you`ve signed up for our online music storage locker then the answer is no. All copies are written directly to DVD or hard drive and iPod if ordered, no copies are held or retained by us. You hold the only copy of your collection.
